NonProfit Operations Coordinator

Part-time, 25-30 hours/week



Springboard Landings, a 501c3, is dedicated to creating an intentional community for individuals with mild developmental disabilities to live independently. We are a startup organization ten years in the making and have achieved funds to make our vision a reality through organic contributions. We are in the process of locating property for our first site and making our vision a reality. We are seeking an Operations Coordinator who can manage the day-to-day tasks of a growing nonprofit.


You are a highly motivated, organized individual with a passion for the special needs population. You will be the nucleus of the organization, taking direction from and reporting to the Board of Directors. A large portion of this role will initially be research and relationship building with opportunity to grow your role within the organization.


General responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying grant opportunities

  • Researching housing laws & regulations

  • Developing screening processes & legal documentation for accepting our first residents

  • Coordinating activities with our contracted marketing consultant

  • Managing and growing the donor, email & newsletter database

  • Attending monthly Board of Director meetings

  • Managing special projects as needed



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 2 or more years’ nonprofit experience

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars

  • Willingness to learn and grow with the organization


Desirable but not required:

  • Experience with Mild Development Disability population

  • Knowledge and experience in Fair Housing compliance with emphasis on Affordable Housing

  • Familiar with ADA CMS settings rule (Medicare/Medicaid)
